Hockey is big in this riding as a number of NHL players have been born and raised in the province. The Yorkton Terriers and the Melville Millionaires of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League play in the riding and the Melville Communiplex features a 1,500-seat ice rink where residents can catch a game.
The communities of Esterhazy, Melville, Yorkton, and many others also offer residents a number of sports, arts, and cultural clubs and activities to enjoy.
Greenwater Lake Provincial Park is located in the north end of the riding and offers everything from swimming, fishing, and boating to golf, snowmobiling, hiking, and camping.
