Joshua Creek Heritage Arts Centre, showcases local artists and hosts media workshops, films, music, and lectures. The Sixteen Mile Sports Complex is Oakville’s new quad pad arena. It features a 1500-seat Olympic size arena and is the home rink of the Ontario Junior ‘A’ Hockey League Team the Oakville Blades.
A portion of Bronte Creek Provincial Park sits in the riding. The park is home to a campground, large outdoor pool, and ravine. It also offers visitors space for all-season activities, including hiking, fishing, tobogganing, and cross-country skiing.
Portions of 16 Mile Creek also flow through this riding. During fall, the accompanying trails surrounding the creeks find locals enjoying the colours and weather of the season.
