Mississauga Waterfront Festival, located in Port Credit, has been voted in the Top 100 Ontario Festivals for the last 10 years. The family event averages over 50,000 visitors annually, and has welcomed performers such as Sam Roberts, Suzie McNeill, and Chantal Kreviazuk, and children’s characters such as Dora The Explorer and Shrek.
The Tim Horton’s Southside Shuffle, is Port Credit’s annual blues and jazz festival. The event includes various musical acts and activities, including the Street Shuffle.
The Port Credit Busker Fest is an annual international street performer festival that features high energy circle shows and eccentric roving characters throughout the Port Credit Village.
The course for the annual Mississauga Marathon encompasses much of the riding of Mississauga-Lakeshore. Many spectators, volunteers, and runners flock to Mississauga’s waterfront for the event.
