Murphy’s Point Provincial Park contains Ontario’s largest (but non-venomous) snake — the black rat snake.
Frontenac Provincial Park lies on the Frontenac Axis of exposed bedrock, and is home to the grey wolf, American black bear, red fox, mink, northern river otter, white-tailed deer, and porcupine.
There are a number of lakes in the riding, including Dog Lake, Loughbourough Lake, Devil Lake, Bobs Lake, Sharbot Lake, Crotch Lake, Big Gull Lake, Kashwakamak Lake, and Mississippi Lake.
