Tours are a good way to discover the rich history of the region and at the same time visit heritage sites such as the rectory of Sacré-Cœur church, the commercial development of the city center and the legend of the flour mill.
There are over 3,300 kilometres of marked snowmobile trails in the region. The Circuit des sommets (The Summit Tour) is one of the better-known routes.
André-Gagnon Park was named after the first known teacher in the region, who taught at the school in Rivière-du-Moulin in 1844. The park includes an ice rink, soccer field, and basketball court.
